Bollywood’s popular couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal have officially announced that they are expecting their first child. As soon as the news broke, fans on social media started sending out messages of congratulations.
On Tuesday (September 23, 2025), they shared a joint post, in which a black-and-white Polaroid picture is seen of Katrina placing her hand on her pregnant belly and Vicky tenderly touching it. The caption of the picture reads: “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude.”
The announcement has been met with an outpouring of congratulations, with Bollywood colleagues, friends and fans all celebrating this new chapter.
According to media sources, the pregnancy has been rumoured for quite some time. Katrina has been rarely seen in public for quite some time, and there have been rumours about her choice of attire all of which has fuelled the speculation.
According to some sources, the baby’s possible arrival could be between October-November and Katrina is currently in her third trimester. However, the couple’s desire to keep the matter top secret has been revealed.
